These symptoms could indicate conditions such as ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease, lumbar spinal stenosis, or inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine. Early diagnosis is crucial as it can enhance treatment outcomes and help prevent complications. Experts suggest that maintaining an active lifestyle, adhering to a healthy sleep routine, using a supportive mattress, and engaging in regular core-strengthening exercises can alleviate morning stiffness. These measures promote spinal mobility and help reduce back strain.

A clinical examination, potentially supported by imaging tests like X-rays or MRI scans, may be necessary to diagnose the underlying condition. These tests assess spinal alignment, disc health, and nerve involvement. Treatment options, tailored to the diagnosed condition, may include physiotherapy and pain management strategies.
