Maj Gen Mohammad Ali Jafari, a former commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, stated that negotiations would not resume until the conflict on all fronts concluded, sanctions were lifted, blocked funds were released, war damages were compensated, and Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz was acknowledged.
